Hospitality Ministry

This ministry is a humbling but gratifying experience.  We serve the church, community, and the bereaved.  Our team and others are faithful volunteers that helped in preparing and serving meals along with keeping our kitchen and the Timothy Dixon Fellowship Hall presentable for use.  In 2008 year we prepared and serve food for over nine funerals, and three banquets.  This does not include the Week of Vacation Bible, workshop refreshments, several outreach outings and Birthday celebrations for Pastor and Senior saints.  In serving the community we hosted the book bag give-a-way.  This year we will be serving the refreshments for the New Year Eve Worship Service. 

You may not believe it, but we actually have fun and feel rewarded when we see the smiles on the faces we serve and even the occasional special thank you.  We will continue to serve in 2009.  We get tired sometimes, but we love what we are doing.
